Hours after a horrific, school shooting, a troubled man named Derek captures the suspected shooter and brings him, bound and bleeding, into the home of his sister, April, who happens to be the wife of the chief of police and a protestant minister. What follows is an agonizing, tense, and shocking debate over the fate of the disturbed man who allegedly perpetrated this heinous crime.
